What you will do as Senior BI Developer

As a Senior BI Developer, you play a leading role in transforming data into strategic insights that support decision making across the organization. You oversee the quality, consistency and effectiveness of all dashboards and BI solutions. You establish and promote best practices in BI development, ensure a unified approach across the team, and drive continuous improvement. You collaborate closely with stakeholders across Analytics, Marketing, and various business units. You understand complex information needs, ask the right questions, and translate these into scalable, data driven solutions. As a senior expert, you take the lead in innovation, knowledge sharing and building a strong internal BI community.

What you will do

• Oversee and ensure the quality and delivery of all dashboards and BI products.
• Design, build and optimize interactive dashboards in Tableau Cloud or similar BI tools.
• Develop and implement BI best practices across the group.
• Ensure alignment in dashboard style, consistency, functionality and data interpretation.
• Develop advanced SQL scripts and data pipelines, ensuring accurate and timely data availability in the data mart.
• Identify areas for process improvement within BI workflows, data models and reporting structures.
• Explore and integrate new techniques, technologies or visualizations that enhance BI impact.
• Build and nurture a BI community that promotes functional collaboration and knowledge‑sharing.
• Onboard, coach and guide BI colleagues and dashboard users across the organization.
• Conduct data exploration, validation and transformation to support high‑quality insights.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in BI and data engineering.

About you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data, IT, Business Analytics or a related field.
• Experience in BI development or data visualization roles.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data pipelines and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
• Extensive experience with Tableau (Cloud) or comparable BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, data architecture, data mart concepts and data governance.
• Ability to guide, coach and maintain technical standards within the team.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills; proactive and quality‑focused mindset.
• Nice to have: Experience with dbt Cloud, ETL tools and/or relevant certifications.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to foster a culture of learning, innovation and community‑building.
