What you will do as Senior Insight Analyst (12-month FTC)

This role will inform key business decisions and help drive positive change via ownership of technical projects and actionable insights. Working across Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Modelling, Segmentation, Report Creation, Data Manipulation and Dashboard delivery.

Knowledge of Print, AV and Digital marketing channels is advantageous as well as demonstratable skills in supporting marketing teams with multi-million-pound budgets via measurement, analysis, and campaign optimisation.

This role also involves line management responsibilities of an Insight Analyst including provision of technical training, coaching and strategic direction of more junior staff.

Key activities and responsibilities you will expect:

  • Drive data-led decision making by analysing marketing performance across Print, TV, Radio, and Digital channels to support strategy and channel optimisation.
  • Provide analytical insight to support business decisions, identifying opportunities and initiating data-driven initiatives that contribute to commercial growth.
  • Develop and refine targeting and selection strategies (e.g. print marketing volumes and segmentation) to maximise sales performance and optimise marketing investment.
  • Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders, influencing decision-making through clear analysis, storytelling, and presentations to senior leaders.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools and relationships, including enhancing dashboards, analysing large datasets, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure insights are aligned with business needs.

About you

Key Skills

  • Demonstratable experience in supporting marketing function with actionable insights.
  • Strong working experience with visualization and BI reporting tools, such as Tableau.
  • Practical experience of statistics, databases & SQL, specifically manipulating large volume data sets.
  • Ability to present complex concepts in a clear & concise way, adapting to level of audience.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical/statistical tools such as Data Robot, R or Python etc.
