What you will do as Product Owner

We're looking for a Product Owner to take ownership of a software product and lead a software development product team. You will be accountable for delivering the best, and highest value software product to both internal and external customers. We’re looking for someone who is a smart thinker and can cut through the noise.

This is what you will do:

  • Determine the priorities of the team, lead the refinement sessions, create a roadmap for the short and medium term and are (partly) responsible for determining the objectives and reporting on them
  • Representing the interests of the customer and maintains contact with the stakeholders, managing expectations from both sides.
  • Develops a vision on your software product within the framework of the organisation and make sure that the highest value product is created.
  • Plan and organise the work, liaising with other product owners to agree on dependencies.
  • Together with the team you make sure that the business needs are integrated in the software product in a sustainable way.
  • Ensure high performance ways of working within the product team in collaboration with your Agile Coach and development lead.

Your qualities:

  • Master's degree in business and/or technical sciences.
  • Significant experience with product and/or project management preferably in complex / ambiguous situations
  • Experience working with / and managing Agile / Scrum projects
  • Understanding how requirements translate to technological and product design solutions.
  • Prior experience delivering high profile software, web or eCommerce projects in international teams.
  • You build bridges and your communication skills are best in class. You can easily switch between different types of stakeholders and inspire your team members.
  • You get stuff done. You live and breathe an entrepreneurial attitude. You preferably set up, execute and successfully deliver end-to-end projects from scratch within an organisation, or have experience running your own company.
