What you will do as Group Lead - Value Delivery and Change


Please note that this role can be based in our Edinburgh, Stockholm or Amsterdam office. Interviews will be held after the Christmas Holiday, in the beginning of January.

Embark on our journey

The Postcode Lottery Group is building an Data and Analytics department to provide our lotteries with the right models, tools, tech, and best-practices to help realize our growth ambition. In this hub you will be working together with business representatives to identify value adding business cases for advanced statistical analytics. You will be working on exciting and challenging BI, data & AI projects that create real impact for the lotteries and our beneficiary organizations.

How you will make a difference
The Group Lead – Value Delivery & Change at Postcode Lottery Group is responsible for ensuring we get the most value out of our Data & Analytics. Overseeing the delivery from all teams and ensuring we always stay focused on the business value we generate. In this role you will also iterate on our operating model and find ways to improve this.

This role involves managing the work performed by the Data Demand Owner and Business Strategy Manager, attracting and retaining talent for data roles, embedding an effective data culture within the organisation, and managing internal data communication.

Reporting directly to the Group Data & Analytics Director, you will lead the delivery and change initiatives that maximise the value of data across Postcode Lottery Group. You will define and maintain the data operating model, ensure prioritisation of data-related demands, and foster a culture of transparency and collaboration. In this role, you will steer strategic initiatives that enable data-driven decision-making and organisational change.

This is what you will do

  • Track and report on value realisation of data use cases, ensuring they deliver tangible business benefits.
  • Oversee prioritisation of data-related demands, ensuring processes work effectively and do not become bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and report on data delivery, ensuring initiatives meet predefined objectives and provide measurable benefits.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data operating model that aligns with the group strategic goals and supports the data & analytics roadmap.
  • Foster a data-centric culture through targeted initiatives and communication strategies that drive adoption and engagement.
  • Attract, retain, and develop a skilled workforce in data-related roles to support organisational growth.
  • Manage internal communications related to data initiatives and achievements, ensuring transparency of decisions and plans.
  • Drive improvements in delivery efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with International Transformation team to align work on delivery, operation model and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and ensure quality risk management for Data & Analytics.

About you

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills and stakeholder management, with the ability to develop and execute a data strategy, including assessing value of initiatives and objectives.
  • Skills in business processes and awareness of product development processes.
  • Deep understanding of data foundations, analytics, and AI.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex data concepts and influence organisational change.
  • Expertise in talent management, change management, and workforce development, particularly in data-related roles.
  • Proven experience in programme planning, prioritisation, and issue escalation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all organisational levels.
