What you will do as Digital Analyst

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Starting Salary: £50,000

Location: Edinburgh City Centre


In this role, you’ll analyse data from digital marketing channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, and Display to understand customer behaviour and improve campaign performance. Working closely with the Insight and Media Investment teams, you’ll turn complex data into clear insights that shape marketing strategies and guide budget decisions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data and wants to make a real impact in a dynamic digital environment.

Your key activities and responsibilities will include:

• Be a trusted advisor to our Media Investment team, refining analytics deliverables and ensuring their alignment with business needs.

• Provide analysis around online marketing channels, including campaign effects, proposition impact, creative insights and conversion performance.

• Deliver research and analysis on customer behaviour and lifecycle, industry & competitor trends. • Leverage outputs of predictive ML/AI tools (churn, attribution, LTV) to guide decision making across digital media strategies

• Support the planning, execution and analysis of the experimentation programme across online marketing channels.

• Translate both structured and unstructured data into digestible insights for Marketing stakeholders and business managers to use for actionable strategies.

• Collaborate with international data science and analytics colleagues to share knowledge and align frameworks. • Work closely with technical colleagues to ensure our live digital media operations are supplied with high quality customer and conversion signals.

• Develop and refine KPI frameworks which measure a mature mix of full-funnel online marketing strategies

• Produce accurate and effective reports and dashboards on paid marketing channels.

• Support senior stakeholders in the scoping and executing pieces of analysis and reporting.



What we're looking for:

• Strong online marketing experience, with exposure to different marketing channels and how they affect each other.

• A strong working knowledge of the reporting and analysis tools in marketing platforms such as Google Adwords, Campaign Manager 360, Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics • Solid understanding of paid, earned, and owned media channels.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced expertise in analysis and data manipulation.

• Awareness of Attribution Modelling and or Media Mix Modelling

• Ability to present analysis in a logical and authoritative manner.

• Experience with Tableau, or similar BI tools.

•Working knowledge of SQL.

• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms

• A flexible, approachable attitude and ability to work in team environment

• Commercially focused and driven with the ability to work towards metrics and targets.

• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• University degree with a strong focus on marketing / data analysis would be advantageous.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
