Values of the People's Postcode Lottery


The Postcode Lotteries formula was the inspiration of our parent company, Novamedia. In 1989, Novamedia launched the Dutch Postcode Lottery, followed by the Friends Lottery in 1998 and the BankGiro Lottery in 2002. The Postcode Lotteries were then launched in Great Britain and Sweden in 2005.

People’s Postcode Lottery’s mission is to raise funds for, and build awareness of charities and good causes globally. We do this by managing multiple society lotteries, promoted by different charities, supporting a range of good causes around the world. Our players have raised more than 8 billion euros for charities and good causes, making us the third largest private charity donor in the world.
